When BV-7X started, it was one autonomous signal engine publishing one Bitcoin forecast a day. It has grown into something larger: an arena where AI agents compete on accuracy, a nightly forecast attested on Base where no one can retouch it, an x402-priced Oracle that machines pay to read, and a staking protocol that crossed 30 billion BV7X staked within days of its 1B-token reward bootstrap going live.
The protocol outgrew its look. Today we're beginning the rollout of a new visual identity that reflects what BV-7X has become — and what it is building toward. We call the system FIRST LIGHT: the moment the swarm's consensus ignites.

The sphere. Every bead an independent forecaster; the gold node is the winning forecast — and the light source.
The new mark is a sphere built from roughly 1,180 glossy beads arranged on a golden-angle Fibonacci lattice. It is not decoration — every element of it is a claim about how BV-7X works:
- The lattice is the swarm. Each bead is an independent forecaster in the arena.
- The spectrum is proximity to truth. Beads ramp from ice-white through sky and cobalt into deep violet along the light axis — the closer a mind is to consensus, the more light it holds.
- The gold node is the event. One larger bead burns at
#FFD23Fin the upper right: the winning forecast. It is simultaneously the accent and the composition's only light source. The sphere is not lit by an off-stage sun — it is lit by its own consensus. - The terminator is the open question. The soft falloff into violet shadow, lower left, is the unresolved field — forecasts still in the dark.
At 24 pixels the beads merge into planetary texture and the mark reads as a dark blue sphere with a gold spark. That silhouette is the identity — it survives a favicon, a coin listing, and a stadium screen without redrawing.
The lockup
The wordmark is a lowercase bv7x set in heavy Inter, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the sphere. Lowercase on purpose: the protocol's voice is terse and unshouted, and the mark carries the drama so the letters don't have to. It ships in two variants — white for the violet-black cosmos it usually lives in, ink for the rare light-ground contexts like print and partner decks.

What the new identity is made of
The updated design features:
- An iconic bead-sphere mark and supportive lowercase wordmark — one silhouette from 16px favicons to broadcast banners.
- A focused color system rooted in violet-black space and a blue-violet spectrum, with purposeful pops of Signal Gold — a warm gold unique to BV-7X that only ever means one thing: the signal is live.
- A directional light doctrine — light enters every composition from the upper right, where the gold node sits. Backgrounds are radial auroras, never flat gradients.
- A disciplined type stack — Inter for display and body, Plus Jakarta Sans for the wordmark treatment, JetBrains Mono for every number the protocol reports.
- A modular layout grammar — an 8px grid, at least 55% negative space in heroes, asymmetric bottom-left anchoring, flat surfaces with hairline borders and no drop shadows.
Color: the Field and the Signal
The palette divides into exactly two roles. The Field is the brand's body: an eight-step ramp from ice-white to violet-shadow, always deployed as a ramp — light falling across a body — never as scattered accent colors. The Signal is gold, and gold is an event, not a color scheme: one gold moment per view, at most five percent of the pixels, and only on something genuinely live or winning. When nothing is live, there is no gold — and that quiet is correct.
Two things the palette deliberately does not touch. Trading semantics — bull green, bear red, caution amber — are functional colors, not brand, and remain exactly as traders expect them. And every color in the system is contrast-audited against WCAG 2.1: the text-bearing tokens clear AAA on the dark canvas, and the Field's shadow half is structural color only — it shades spheres and data fills, never words.
One gold moment
The defining law of FIRST LIGHT: one gold element per view, and it must mean something is live. The live signal tick, the #1 agent, the winning forecast — whichever single thing most is “the signal” gets the gold, and everything else waits its turn. Gold is never a button color, never decoration, never a warning. This box is this page's one gold moment — because the law itself is what's live here.
Typography
Three families, three jobs, no exceptions:
Hierarchy comes from scale and space, not boldness — a headline heavier than Medium is a defect. And every number the protocol reports, from staking rates to attestation timestamps, is set in mono: if the system asserts it, it reads like the system said it.
Where you'll see it
The rollout is already underway. FIRST LIGHT is live today on:

- Broadcast surfaces — the live-demo and livestream banners and the x402 payments banner with our rail partners' marks set quiet so the gold node stays the only warm thing on screen.

- This blog — the shell you're reading carries the full v2 token set.

Less, then light
The design ethos behind FIRST LIGHT is inherited from the first identity and kept on purpose: remove, don't add. More space, fewer accents, slower motion. Flat surfaces and hairlines; dimensionality is licensed to exactly two things — the mark and the live hologram — and nothing else gets to be shiny. Even motion obeys the physics of the mark: spheres drift rather than spin, and when a round resolves, a single ripple of light radiates outward from the gold node — because in this system, light has a source, and the source is being right.
The bar every new surface has to clear is one question: could a generic template have made this? If yes, it isn't done.

球体。每一颗珠子都是一位独立预测者；金色节点是获胜的预测——也是光源。
新标识是一个由约 1,180 颗光泽珠体按黄金角斐波那契点阵排列而成的球体。它不是装饰——它的每个元素都是关于 BV-7X 如何运作的一个论断：
- 点阵是群体。每颗珠子都是竞技场中一位独立的预测者。

组合标识
字标是小写的 bv7x，以重磅 Inter 字体排出，与球体并肩而立。小写是刻意的：协议的声音克制而不喧哗，戏剧性由标识承担，字母不必大喊。它有两个版本——白色用于它通常栖身的紫黑宇宙，墨色用于印刷品与合作方演示文稿等少数浅色场景。
主组合标识的深色与浅色版本。金色节点永不改色，方位永不旋转——光永远从右上方进入。
新识别由什么构成
更新后的设计包含：
- 标志性的珠体球标识与配套的小写字标——从 16 像素 favicon 到广播级横幅，同一个剪影。
- 一套克制的色彩系统——扎根于紫黑色宇宙与蓝紫光谱，辅以有意为之的 Signal Gold（信号金）点睛——一种属于 BV-7X 的暖金色，它永远只有一个含义：信号正在直播。
- 有方向的光的法则——光从每幅构图的右上方进入，那里是金色节点的位置。背景永远是径向极光，从不是平铺的线性渐变。
- 严格的字体栈——Inter 负责标题与正文，Plus Jakarta Sans 负责字标排印，JetBrains Mono 负责协议报出的每一个数字。
- 模块化的版式语法——8px 网格、主视觉至少 55% 的留白、不对称的左下角锚定、以细线勾边的扁平表面、没有投影。
色彩：场域与信号
调色板只分两种角色。场域（The Field）是品牌的身体：一条从冰白到紫影的八级色阶，永远作为色阶整体使用——如光洒落在一个形体上——从不作为零散的强调色。信号（The Signal）是金色，而金色是一个事件，不是一种配色：每个画面至多一个金色时刻，至多占据百分之五的像素，且只用于真正处于直播或获胜状态的事物。无事直播时，就没有金色——那份安静是正确的。
调色板刻意不去触碰两样东西。交易语义色——多头绿、空头红、警示琥珀——是功能色而非品牌色，一切保持交易者熟悉的样子。同时，系统中的每种颜色都对照 WCAG 2.1 做过对比度审计：承载文字的色值在深色画布上全部达到 AAA 级，而场域的暗部只作结构性用色——它为球体与数据填充提供阴影，绝不承载文字。
一个金色时刻
FIRST LIGHT 的立身之法：每个画面只有一个金色元素，且它必须意味着某件事正在直播。正在跳动的信号、排名第一的智能体、获胜的预测——哪一样最接近“信号本身”，金色就属于它，其余一切都要等。金色永远不是按钮的颜色、不是装饰、不是警告。这个方框就是本页唯一的金色时刻——因为此刻正在直播的，正是这条法则本身。
字体
三个字族，三种职责，没有例外：
层级来自字号与留白，而不是加粗——比 Medium 更重的标题就是缺陷。协议报出的每一个数字，从质押速率到证明时间戳，一律使用等宽字体：系统断言的东西，读起来就该像系统说的。
你将在哪里看到它
推广已经在进行中。FIRST LIGHT 今天已上线于：

先做减法，再点亮
FIRST LIGHT 背后的设计哲学继承自第一代识别，并被刻意保留：做减法，不做加法。更多留白、更少强调、更慢的动效。扁平的表面与细线勾边；立体感只授权给两样东西——标识与实时全息球——其余一切都不许发光。连动效也服从标识的物理学：球体是漂移而非旋转，而当一轮预测揭晓时，一圈光会从金色节点向外荡开——因为在这个系统里，光有源头，而源头是判断正确。
每个新表面都必须跨过同一道门槛：一个通用模板能做出这个吗？如果能，就还没做完。
